While most of our guests already have a place to stay and just want to book kitesurfing lessons and island tours, we can connect you to the accommodation of your choice if you need help. Coconut Plantation
Located in Kilwa Masoko just outside of town, this camping spot not only features coconut trees as far as the eye can see, but it also affords a gorgeous view of the sand bank and mangrove forestRukila Island
Located in Kilwa Masoko across the sand bank from the Plantation campsite, Rukila is an isolated patch of beach used only by local fishermen and its views are breathtaking- a big sky for sunset and stargazingMjengela
About a half hour drive (or an hour boatride) from Kilwa Masoko, this campspot is a secluded getaway that also provides a unique cultural experience with some of the residents of the nearby town

Kilwa has many islands and a rich and unique natural habitat. We want to preserve these resources and maintain our beautiful surroundings by keeping our beaches clean, being responsible around our reefs, and repurposing our waste. The youth are our future, and there are many young men and women in Kilwa with potential for greatness. We are passionate about empowering our upcoming generations to make something of themselves and contribute to their community. We want to build strong, active, smart leaders in our town who are being the best they can be!
